Review – Park Hyatt Bangkok

From the onset of our trip planning, we were already amazed by the architecture of the Park Hyatt Bangkok. Coincidentally, the hotel was set to be open during our time in Bangkok, so we were pretty determined on staying here. From the airport, it was about a 40 minute taxi ride to the hotel entrance. Bangkok traffic is just insane! As soon as we stepped out of the taxi, we were greeted by no less than three hotel staff who were as friendly as could be. We were led inside while our luggage was taken care of, and we were given a luggage tag for check-in.

Review – Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel & SYD Plane Spotting

As huge aviation geeks who love to spend all their time at airports, we decided to stay a night at the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel, the night before we were to depart Sydney. This airport is known for being a plane spotter-friendly hotel, and has a great location right across from the International Terminal. Some of the rooms have a direct view of the airport gates and the runway.

Review – Marina Bay Sands Resort & Infinity Pools

One of the highlights of our Singapore trip was staying at the Marina Bay Sands hotel.  Ever since seeing amazing photos of the Infinity Pool overlooking the Singapore skyline, it’s been on my list of places to visit.  I had booked a Premier City View Room for two nights for $1386 SGD (which is about the same in CAD).  Premier City View Rooms are guaranteed to be 19th floor or higher, facing the harbor and the Singapore skyline.
